Role Overview
The Business Development Manager – International Market (ROW) will be responsible for expanding Amber Lifesciences’ global footprint across Africa, Asia, CIS, and Latin American markets. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing international clients, driving product registrations, and establishing long-term partnerships to achieve sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement business strategies to expand exports in ROW markets.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new distributors, importers, and strategic partners.
Drive sales growth through effective negotiation, pricing strategies, and business proposals.
Oversee product registration processes with regulatory authorities and coordinate documentation requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure consistent follow-up on opportunities.
Monitor international market trends, competitor activities, and potential growth segments.
Build strong relationships with healthcare authorities, distributors, hospitals, and strategic partners.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform strategy.
Represent the company at global trade fairs, exhibitions, and virtual B2B meetings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Regulatory, QA, Production, Logistics) to ensure smooth execution of export operations.
Prepare business reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management review.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy / Life Sciences / Chemistry. MBA in Marketing or International Business preferred.
8–15 years of proven experience in international business development or export sales within the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong exposure to ROW markets (Africa, Asia, CIS, LATAM).
Excellent understanding of pharma exports, regulatory processes, and product registration documentation.
Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Self-driven professional with ability to manage international clients and meet targets independently.
