People & Culture | HR Business Partner & Employee Experience Lead – Amber LifeSciences

Role Overview

As the People & Culture | HR Business Partner & Employee Experience Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and nurturing the employee experience at Amber LifeSciences. You will be responsible for managing core HR functions including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, learning & development, and HR operations—while acting as a trusted advisor to both employees and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Drive end-to-end recruitment processes (sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection).
  • Partner with hiring managers to attract top talent aligned with business needs.
  • Design and implement smooth onboarding programs for new hires.

2. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
  • Plan and execute engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and recognition activities.
  • Act as a culture ambassador to ensure alignment with company values.

3. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Manage HR policies, employee records, and HRMS tools effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company standards.
  • Handle employee relations with empathy and professionalism.

4. Performance Management & Development

  • Facilitate goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback processes.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development initiatives.
  • Support career development and succession planning.

5. Strategic HR Partnership

  • Partner with leadership teams to design and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Provide data-driven insights to improve HR processes and decision-making.
  • Continuously drive HR best practices and innovative people solutions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • MBA/PGDM in HR or related field.
  • 1–5 years of HR experience (Life Sciences, Pharma, Healthcare, or related industries preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, labor laws, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in HRMS tools, MS Office, and recruitment platforms.
